Hi my husband and I are trying to get pregnant and my sister came over tonight and said that men only have live sperm in one ejaculation a day. Is this true???
No, that is not true. If it were true, then pre-coital ejaculation would be a recognised form or birth control.
However, the more times a man ejaculates in a short period of time, the less sperm is produced in subsequent ejaculations. So If you are having trouble conceiving, I would suggest that you try every three days especially the 17th and 14th days before your period is due to start. Or you could try every two days, especially 18th, 16th and 14th days before your period is due to start.
