I stretched and something below my left breast into the middle going down to my belly button snapped and I felt a lot of pain. After I began to notice a vain-like protruding out slightly the same length as I described above. However, doctors ruled out any heart problems and thought it could be tendonitis but I do not have tendonitis symptoms. When I touch it I can follow it with my fingers from under my breast to right over my belly button and if I press I can feel it in my back. It also feels a little hard and hurts as I press. I can't sleep on it and if I do I have to be very careful or otherwise I can land up pulling it again or touching it on a spot that will cause me pain.

The doctor told me three years ago I had an ulcer but last year told me he didn't see it. He also told me I had a hiatel hernia but again the last time he did an endoscopy he told me he only saw a lot of irritation maybe due to the IBS.

From what you described, it sounds like hernia to me. When was the endoscopy done, before or after this pull-out? Hernia usually occurs after stretching, lifting something hard, etc
It may or may not hurt but a person is almost always able to push this back into its place. However, it would come out again after laughing loud, coughing, bending, etc

I think you should see a doctor again and report that you already had hernia and see what they can do about it. My sister has hernia and hasn’t been operated yet. It seems that not all hernias require surgery, only those in which intestines get trapped within hernia, which can be pretty dangerous. In order to avoid any possible complications, I would suggest you saw a doctor again!
