Im 16 years old and I have found a problem with my vagina. I dont know what it is, but there is something blocking the hole going into me [i dont know how to describe the vagina very well, sorry]. I can use tampons, when I use them I think it pushes whatever the thing is out of the way. I first discovered this when my boyfriend went to finger me [sorry about graphicness, but I cant think of any other way to put it] but couldnt. I think its like a lump or something, but I havent got a clue. I asked a friend and she said that it could be something to do with me being stressed. Should I be worried? I know I will most probably going to get a responce like go to the doctors, but I just wanted to know if I could find what it could be before hand. Help?

More than likely it will break the first time you have sex causing bleeding.

I have to agree with medic-dan, it is the hymen that is blocking the entrance. Every women has this and it is normal thing for everybody. When you have your first sexual intercourse you will fill pain and this is because your hymen needs to brake so penis can go in to your vagina. In some cases there is no pain but this is rear, any in most cases the first sexual experience if painful.

Why do you say being premature causes you to not be able to grow breasts? I've never heard of that. Do you just have small breasts? Many girls have small breasts and just as many guys would die to have a girl with small breasts. I'm one of them.

im only 13 and i sail 420's which are REALLY tippy boats and i still cant get a tampon in after 10 months of trying! my period starts tomorow and i have sailing! i feel like theres something right in the middle of my vagina opening, and i know about double hymens but i dont think i have one. im really scared because i cant get more than my first knuckle of my pointer finger inside. and right i side the middle of the thing blocking my opening theres a little hole in it. im soooo confuzed and iv been talking with my mom and she has no clue whats wrong with me. I have the same problem and Im pretty sure it's not my hymen because my boyfriend can fit his penis in but it has to be on a different angle or this "lump" thing stops him from going deeper and it really hurts!
Hi guest. It won't be your hymen as that is just a thin membrane that partly covers the entrance to the vaginal canal, when you say a different angle what do you mean by that?
Do you know roughly how deep your boyfriend goes inside when it starts to hurt and how long is your boyfriends penis? Have to tried to feel what your talking about with your finger and is it on the front wall sides back wall or at the top of your vagina?

I also have the same problem. I have my period but there is something hard in my vagina and I can't seem to stick my finger in it or do anything.
Me too. I've used a tampon once before but then I didn't have my period for 6 months bc of anorexia. Now every time I try I can't get it and it's so frustrating. I looked at it in a mirror and I see my hymen, and then a vertical line thing that seems to cover the vagina hole. Did losing not having my period for a long time contribute to this? Please help, I really want to use tampons.
