Hi everybody
I have a question, what is that part of my nasopharynx next to my right tonsil marked in green color in second picture http://img528.imageshack.us/slideshow/webplayer.php?id=img3930q.jpg - first picture shows healthy throat, and the second shows when that "spot" is gettin swollen (its kind of lining tissue coming from inside of the soft palate) ... I'm askin because, during last year, that "spot" always started any infection that occured in my throat.. yet, if I werent using the iodine desinfection for my mouth ( sprayed right on that spot), I wuold have been sick every two weeks... It always starts inside that soft palate (just a few mm above that top lining - where i cant see - and gets swollen all the way down as seen in that picture -> and it might spread infection and I get nasopharyngitis (i feel that when i talk, when i open the mouth the soft palate is being pushe a lil bit forward-as theres certainly some obstruction inside that ... It gets swollen almost every third day or whenever I work out or whenever I eat somehthin spicy or drink alcohol (I have to spray the iodine spray on it, once or twice, and its allright for next 2-3 days , then it occurs again.. But nothing like that NEVER happens on my left side of the throat - theres that"tissue lining" also, but it never gets swollen, noir starts the infection...!! why?? why only on that right? Is taht any kind of mucosa? or is it part of the lymphatic system?? (when it occurs, my tonsils dont get swollen (its associated with the nasopharynx only.... what could I do about it? (dont tell me take vitamin C or Zinc - neither helps... (doctors dont have a clue (I aksed of a two specialists... (Im very prone to the mouth infections ferom my childhood, but this "lining" is a new thing after my last tonsilitis (about an year ago...

Thank a lot in advance
