hello, please post back after getting your top wisdom teeth removed. I'm having all of these symptoms and wondering if I will get relief by only removing the upper wisdom teeth. Seems it would make since that its the upper that cause these issues as they are close to your inner ear. Has anyone only removed their uppers and been cured?

I hav been feeling anxious, depressed and severely dizzy for many months. Tinnitus, diarea and fatigue.
I thought of Lymes but many tests couldnt find it, besides in New Zealand is no Lymes disease reported.
Dr's couldnt find anything many blood tests and mri's, and labeled me adhd and anxiety disordered.
Day after tomorrow my impacted infected tooth is extracted, I saved the link of this site and I report back, within a week.

Hi,
Its the lower left one, the right one has been gone for over a decade, this one remained hidden underneath the gum for over a decade with no complaints, 8 months ago it started partially erupting, it didnt really hurt, but the gum around it became swollen and sore when I press down. Foul taste too.
I have flu symptoms, anxiety, depression, and dizziness, nausea, fatigue and digestive issues.
Just feeling really unfit.
I'll get back as soon as I notice something good or bad after surgery.

I had my a wisdom teeth removed 2 days ago and my dizzy spells, nausea, tiredness, anxiety have all improved. I feel almost myself again. I can't tell you how many blood test, stool samples, courses of antibiotics not to mention a camera down to my stomach to try and find out why I was feeling so unwell. It was so scary that no one had any answers as to why I all of a sudden could not function like I used to.

For me it started back in, I believe 08, I was 25. Upset stomach, lack of appetite, look at food and just couldn't eat it because I knew it would upset my stomach and anxiety "which I assumed was because of not knowing what was going on with my stomach. Well after cameras went up me and down me, they diagnosed me with gastritis. During this time one day, it felt like a switch flip in my head one day...turning on severe anxiety. Then came the feelings of...just not feeling right, brain fog as others have said describes it perfect. Then came the eye floaters and sensitivity to light and sound. Then terrible pressure in my forehead, upper and lower jaws...terrible pressure, like was going to pass out.
In 2010, I went to the dentist for removal of other teeth. After the x-ray I learned I had all 4 wisdom teeth impacted and where growing in sideways. The Doctor said we would pull the teeth I was there for and the four teeth in front of my wisdom teeth, hopefully giving them room to grow in. So I returned and yadda yadda, only the other teeth were removed, leaving my wisdom teeth no room. I planned to return, but as life and finances go I didn't return...I mean they weren't causing any symptoms...that I knew of.
Later that year, I had a big episode of anxiety, head pressure...fearing a brain tumor or clot, I went to the hospital. It was so bad, I couldn't think of a response to the nurse at the front desk. My brain was like "Derp", the doctor checks me and determines I have TMJ and that it is probably from the impacted wisdom teeth which was causing the pressure. Comforting FOR AWHILE to know at least I wasn't dieing.
Cut to now, and we add dizziness, just not feeling right/strange, sinus pressure, headache and ear discomfort/pain to the list of symptoms above. One wisdom tooth has came in pushing and breaking off the tooth in front, I pulled it myself as it was barely hanging on by one last decayed root. So that is one wisdom tooth "kinda" protruding, still semi-sideways. The one above is also trying to break through, yet has no room and is pushing on the tooth in front. The two on the other side have yet to protrude but I can feel their pressure.
rpalmer92, I like to partake also and yes, I find it exacerbates the anxiety by 100. I originally thought that smoking cannabis was the cause for all my anxiety and do find that not partaking helped lessen some symptoms...but damn if I do, I think I'm dieing. Dizzy, hard to breath, heart pumping through my chest....but it seems to depend on what strain I ingest, as some strains can worsen anxiety. Strange tho, smoking never caused these symptoms for years until that day my switch flipped and all my problems started.
So it's been 6 years of living life like this...6 damn years of fear and pain...it's very depressing, always wishing to feel normal again. Hope to soon get them removed and praying I can enjoy my days again.
Wow, this was long...lol

Hi people as promised an update.
Yesterday the wisdom tooth was removed, it was almost completely horizontal.
I had a lot of pain and bleeding last night, still swollen and cant eat and feel sick.
But!
Dizziness and anxiety have reduced, as far as I can say dizziness is gone, anxiety 80% less.
I'll give another update when the swelling has come down.

Hey again!
Okay so I've had my wisdom teeth pulled (all 4) and it's been 6 days since the surgery. I'm definitely feeling better, but not anywhere near 100% yet. I still get the occasional headache and slight dizziness, but I guess that is to be expected as I'm not fully healed up yet.
A weird thing happened last night, I smoked cannabis again, just 2 puffs of a joint, and after the high wore off I developed a pretty strong head pressure and medium amount of dizziness and those feelings of doom again. This time, I was able to keep my sanity and didn't have a panic attack, but it sparked a worry in me because I've just had the teeth removed and this shouldn't be happening!!!
Basically, I am now lead to believe these issues are mostly sinus related. The three upper teeth I had removed penetrated my sinus cavity and I guess I'm not quite healed yet and smoking irritated my sinuses badly causing sinus headaches and pressure, dizziness and a weird unbalanced feeling. Makes sense as the ears, nose and throat are all interconnected.
It's funny, all this, as I have an extremely bad left side deviated septum and a history of nasal polyps in my family. I have constant bad post nasal drip because of the deviation and literally almost nothing can come out of the left nostril, meaning it all gets clogged in my left cavity, goes hard and ends up dripping down my throat as this gooey mucus substance. I'm guessing what's happening is smoking weed is irritating the sh*t out of this, effectively meaning I have a "weed/smoke allergy" so to speak.
To the guy who says he also partakes and gets these headaches and stuff, could you create an account and private message me an email address or something. I believe we have much to discuss and we can tackle this together and perhaps find a solution/cure!!! This goes for anyone else - private message me if you wish to discuss it personally and aid me in finding a cure, or at least a remedy that alleviates the symptoms for a while.
To anyone else reading this, start doing nasal rinses twice daily with warm salt water. Google it, it's fairly easy to do. Also, when the headache gets bad, try this -
Put your thumb on your forehead in between your eyebrows and apply fairly strong pressure, now push your tongue flat into the roof of your mouth and also apply strong pressure. Hold both of these for 20 seconds+ until you feel a kind of burning sensation (like you are stretching a muscle) originating from where the headache is in the centre of your head. Once you feel the burning sensation, hold these pressure points for another 5 seconds or so, so it really burns. This sensation is apparently the bone the runs behind your sinus cavity moving and by doing this you are loosening up your sinuses and allowing them to drain. You may feel some "c**p" start to run down your throat and you also might have a weird taste/smell in your mouth for a few minutes. It really works for me and provides an impressive amount of relief! Seriously, try it guys :)

Hi Rob again here,
another update, the swelling has come down a lot more, still sore though.
but I'm gonna be honest, the dizziness and anxiety and all other complaints are not gone/have returned. Since they seemed gone a day after surgery lets me to believe the complaints are all psychological, I think its perhaps an imbalance in my neurotransmitter levels.
im not saying it wont cure you, but honestly to say it did not cure me from anything else besides toothinfection.
if anything changes I keep you guys informed, cheers.

You won't be cured on the spot after the extraction. When any system is disturbed, it will need time to get back to its natural and initial state. Wisdom teeth do affect one's overall health. As for your the anxiety/brain fog/dizziness,these are all result from the pressure that the wisdom teeth put on the nerves of the lower jaw . Do you think this pressure will be relieved right after the extraction? Of course Not! This is because the wisdoms cause crowding which irritates the nerves and triggers this "out of it" feeling. So, I think as long as your other teeth are still affected by lack of space because of the wisdom teeth, your anxiety won't be alleviated until the crowded teeth are allowed this free space to release the pressure on the trigeminal nerve. That needs time!
