Hello, MazAti!  It sounds as if you just need to tone up rather than lose much weight.  If you have a gym with a swimming pool to workout at, that would be a great place to start.  You should just participate in an activity that you enjoy.  You can try out the free weights or nautical equipment that targets your thigh and abdominal areas to tighten them.  Swimming will tone you all over and raise your metabolism to lose weight more efficiently.  As far as diet goes, you should eat at least 2,300 calories a day since at your age you need the nutrients and energy to sustain a growing body.  What are you doing now to lose weight?
