Oh, hon... I don't want to discourage you, this is going to be tough.
It isn't imposible but harder when you dont' have support from family members.
fat doesn't equal healthy. it equals diabetes, higher blood pressure, depression what you had yourself ... and many other conditions and diseases.
But I am glad you want to take your life to the next level and try to improve yourself!!!
So, losing weight and being healthy inlcudes two things - healthy nutrition and exercise.
Nutrition is responsible for up to 70% - if not more - of your success.
First thing I would do.... Do you drink sodas, juices and these kind of drinks? if yes - stop - and replace with water. Reason: they contain plently of sugars and you don't need this type of "energy".
Drink only plain water - not flavored water, but water, even tap water is perfeclty fine - of cousre if it's drinkable...
Next step: Reduce the amount of bread in half. If you eat two slices fo bread, reduce to one slice, or if you take a portion of potatoes - reduce it to half - best to avoid french fries...
Try to exercise. Start by going for a fast walk - every day, 30 minutes.
