nerve pain

I have had a lot of surgerys and the result is nerve damage.I am now taking morfine capsules for the pain.I have developed type 2 dieabetic and had shingles that left me with burning,stinging.electric shocks on my hands and fingers also feet and toesI was just put on lycric it has helped me to deal with the pain.could someone tell me if they have had the same experiences that I have had.
