Hi. I am 16 years old and my boyfriend wants to have sex with me but since I've never had sex, I'm kinda scared to do it because I heard that the first time, it might not be too pleasurable and feel pain. And I might get pregnant. Even though he uses a condom, will there still be a chance of me getting pregnant?
There is always a chance that you could get pregnant. Condoms are not 100%. If you don't feel comfortable having sex yet, then don't. It can be a little painful the first time and if you are not ready then it will make it that much worse. You want your first time to be memorable and you don't want to stress out about what could happen. You are young and have so much time to have a "first time". I was 23 my first time and I am so glad that I waited. I have known people who got pregnant while they used a condom. Just please do what is best for you and don't let him pressure you. If he cares about you, he will respect your choice.

i agree with everything mommyme2305 said
there is always a chance of pregnancy and infection, even with contraception
first times can be painful but i think it varies from each person
and your virginity is something special. don't just throw it away
i'm 17 and one of my best friends gave hers away to a boy that didn't appreciate it and she was really upset about it
i don't think you should be afraid of sex, but make sure you know what you're doing
if you're not ready, you're still young, there's still time
if you boyfriend doesn't like it and threatens to leave, then, not trying to be harsh or anything, he isn't worth the time and definitely not worth losing your virginity over
it's your body and your choice
