i'm 18 years old and i gently squeezed my nipple and a tiny bit of white/milky fluid came out. im not pregnant and i've never been pregnant. i'm on the birth control pill and i use condoms during sex. i dont know whats going on and im kind of worried. it only comes out when i squeeze it a bit and it's only out of one breast. whats happening??
Well, if you're not breastfeeding nor pregnant it could be just a normal nipple discharge. Nipples may secrete fluid when they are stimulated or squeezed. Normal nipple discharge may also occur when your nipples are repeatedly chafed by your bra or during vigorous physical exercise, such as jogging. If that's the case, the discharge might resolve on its own. Most often, nipple discharge stems from a noncancerous condition. However, you should see your gynecologist since possible causes of nipple discharge include some serious conditions as well. Take care.
