Does anyone have nipple pain taking adderall?
Yes! I have been regularly suffering extremely painful nipples (esp when I first wake up.) I'm a 29yo Male, (28, turned 19 in August) and have intermittently been taking Adderall since 2016 as I was going through homelessness and unable to be seen regularly by a PCP. However, 2019-2020 I have been, and thus have had a regular Adderall Rx. My dose initially (from about May - October 2020) was 30mg 3x daily (90mg.) Anyway, I'd wake up, as I rolled over pain from just my nipples would jolt me awake and to roll gently out of bed. I have yet to mention this to anyone but upon reading this article I've reconsidered. The pain is so bad it's no longer a "mild side effect" and requires further inquiry.
However, for full transparency, my doctor (without any warning whatsoever) lowered my dose from 90mg to 60mg due to my insurance who is intolerant of my Xanax 2mg 4x a day Rx concomitant with my Adderall, and in the era of ridiculous doctor and medication vilification, I understand. He's one of the last few good ones, and I am happy to have him.
Will post any further explanations or diagnoses about nipple pain related to Adderall, I'll post. Hope the best for you. Got bless.
Coleman.

Female 37, adult, diagnosis, never properly medicated, recently started phentermine for weight loss, doctor noticed that it seems to be treating symptoms too.
I just started taking adderall again after being unmedicated for 25 years. I’m 42 yo male 170lbs and all stimulants do this to my nipples. Cold weather does too. I believe it is because of the vasoconstriction that it happens as that’s also what happens when my nipples get cold enough. I currently am prescribed and take 20mg adderall ex and my nipples are hurting. Using a blow dryer to warm them up usually brings relief. The heat helps open up the vascular system around them. I’m not a dr. or an expert but that’s my experience and take away from the stupid nipple pain.
Maybe try some hand warmers taped over your nipples if it’s interfering with work or something to that regard.
Hope everyone has a great day and can find a solution to remedy their pain.
