Stop lecturing 15 year old's about their morals like you have never done anything wrong in your life. Sex at 15 is not a new concept. In the middle ages girls were given to older men as brides as early as 10 years old. This has been going on for thousands of years. Mary, mother of Jesus was like 16 when she gave birth to Jesus. I realize it was an immaculate conception but pregnancy at that age at that time wasn't out of the ordinary.

Im 17 years old and i have unprotected sex with my boyfriend every now and again....But for us it isnt a big deal. Hes 20 will be 21 next month and ill be 18 in 2 months. Were planning on gettin married after he gets back from basic traninng for the air forces. Been with him for a while now. So sometimes young ppl can make it work and last i guess it just depends on how mature you are. But as of right now i do belive im pregnant and we both couldnt be happier :-)

i am 17 and i will be 18 january 27th..i had sex for the first time a little bit after i turned 17 with my very first boyfriend..and after my very first time i found out that i had gonorrhea and chlamydia..my boyfriend didnt use a condom and i didnt realize until he "pulled out". for some reason i thought that wearing a condom was the first thing that comes to mind but its not for some guys. now with every guy ive been wen since then a condom is mandatory. whether it be while yur making out or right before hes about to go in..always protect yur self no matter how old yu are..

There is a reason why there is a minimum age to having sex. It is because our bodies are not physically ready to have sex. We don't even need to bring morals into the picture. Although I do believe one should wait until marriage. But the reason you shouldnt have sex is because you can do serious damage to your body by having sex too young. It increases the risk of ovarian cancer. Also, our brains do not fully develop until we are 21 so how can you know that you are emotionally ready?? You might at the time, but it is like getting a tattoo while you are drunk and looking back on it in a year and saying 'What the hell was I thinking??' So it doesn't matter if you feel ready at the age of 12, you physically aren't.
And for all of the young people who say old people don't understand what you are going through, OF course they do!! They had all of the same problems that we have now. The only difference is that they were taboo, we are just more open about them now.

That has nothing to do with now this is not YOUR time this is TODAY an TODAY kids are going through it . Its called life. so stop talking about what YOU went through in the past and focus on whats HAPPENING to kids today. and THEY need us more then anything, and when i mean they need us i dont mean you talking your bull c**p saying who has sex that young of an age, this is why some kids commit suicidal.

Holy sh*t, at this point all the "responsible adults" that chose to save sex until after marriage and the "under developed 15 year old girls that chose to have sex early are swimming in the same pool of annoying-ness. This is 2010, not 1980...or even 2000 for that matter. Times change and people change.

When I was 14, I lost my virginity. I don't regret it for a bit, and I'm proud to say that I was responsible enough to use two forms contraception simultaneously every time I had sex since I was 14, until today to avoid an unexpected pregnancy the best that I could. I was lucky enough to have an understanding mother who knew that times were different and that she would not be able to stop me from doing activities that I was curious about at that age, such as sex. So instead of patronizing me, she offered to buy me birth control pills and condoms and urged me to be careful. Had it not been for my understanding mother, who knows where I would have been at this point. I am ashamed to say it, but during those teenage years I slept around ALOT. I experienced ALOT, sexually. I am 20 now and spontaneous sexual activities have become almost a bore too me, and I'm kind of glad that they did. I'm engaged and have settled down with one partner. I'm on the way to graduating college and maybe starting a family of my own in the future. But I am still taking every precaution to keep an unexpected pregnancy away at this day.

That being said, I don't think every 15 year old girl that choses to have sex should be frowned upon - sure, they are too young to fully understand even their own bodies a that age, I know I was. But instead of looking down upon and patronizing, offer help, advice, and share some of your more experienced knowledge to help these girls learn more about the choices they are making and the risks instead of leaving them to discover the consequences on their own. If they are more informed, they are opt to make better decisions on their own.

I lost my virginity at age 15 and I can tell you I regret it to this day. I was WAY too young to be doing that. I didnt even comprehend the consequences of my actions. I am older now, in college, and I've met the man of my dreams. I WISH that i would have waited for him but things happen.

I dont judge, because I've been there, done that. But i wish i had my innocence back. And one day you young girl will know what that feels like. You will meet the man you were meant to be with, and wish you had so much more to give to him.

Are people really stupid enough to think that teenagers having sex is a NEW thing?? There were teenagers having sex decades ago as well, we are just more open about it now!! That being said, regardless of age, everyone should make the decision to only have ssex when they are READY and for the right reasons.

I lost my virginity at 12 so don't feel bad okay all that matters is the person you are today and what you've learned since then. I got pregnant at 16 and my bf for a year who was 18 told me to get an abortion or he would leave me, because he already had a baby- he also knew i was pregnant before i did (can you say planned). Anyway if I didn't I wouldn't have met my fiancee... (I'm 19 now and probably too young in many persons eyes) since then I've had a miscarriage with the man of my dreams. I regret the fact that the abortion may have ruined my chances of having a baby. For sure know what you're getting yourself into before you have sex. Use protection or don't even have sex at all especially if you don't know how babies are made.

Hello, I am 19 almost twenty and for the past hour I've been reading all these posts from both a generation above me and the generation I just left. For all you 14-18 year old girls who are defending your decisions and saying there is so much pressure this one is for you! I am 19 ok so I was just in highschool. There was pot and some harder drugs, there was smoking, sexy and binge drinking. I am no goodie twoshoes girl with religious beliefs, I am probably no different than most of you! I am from a small town where we drove at 14, started drinking at 14 and where it was just as easy to get your hands on pot as it was to get water! I grew up in a broken home where I was subjected to abuse on a regular basis. And contrary to what every person in my highschool told me I MADE IT THROUGH HIGHSCHOOL WITH OUT SEX (OR DRUGS)!!!!!!!!!! This doesn't mean I wasn't pressured. Most of my friends did drugs and I had more than one b/f who wanted sex if not pushed it on me but you have the power to say no. Wether society believes it is right or not, you in your heart know that you are not ready! I'm not saying that rape doesn't happen or that you won't be a good mom, b/c some people are wonderful at making it work. What I am saying is don't blame your mistakes on pressure if you are old enough to make the decision to have sex you are old enough to take the responsibility for your actions! My fiance of 2 years and I are now having safe, protected sex and I truly made him get a test before sleeping with him. I was a virgin but he was not. I do not hold his past against him and he knows that, This is a man who is now 23 and slept with 14 girls before me. I know noone is perfect but I want to tell you something, the first time I ever saw that man cry was when he told me how many girls he had been with. His words " he was ashamed that he could ever be with a girl like me when what he had done to so many others was wrong. He made me wait a year before having sex b/c he wanted it to mean something, b/c even after knowing him for 3 years and being his gf for 1 he felt that bc of his past I deserved better. That being with me was a gift b/c I was the first girl that he had met in a LONNNGGG time that had some self respect!" Maybe at 14, 15 you believe that that guy treats you well but any guy who is going to sleep with you obviously doesn't respect you! Please don't think I trying to deminish anyone b/c thats is not my intent I just want you to understand that people do say no and that pressure or not you have the will to stand up for yourself.
