Im a 19 years girl and 4 years ago(i was 15) i had my gallbladder removed. I had suffered from a pain in my abdomen for 4 years before I was admitted to hospital where i was told i had gallstones and would have to have my gallbladder removed. My insides were completely inflammed and my liver was not working properly, I also got Jaundice(which i had suffered from as a new born baby),it was always discovered that i had pancrititis. After the operation i spent the following few days in the hospital. When i left the hospital I was given no advice on diet or to take vitimans or medication of any kind. Having been out of the hospital for about 3 months I started to suffer from diarrhea everytime I ate. I have bad pains in my stomach before it happens which disappears after i go to the toilet. I always feel extremely tired when my stomach is upset. I was with one doctor who put me on Questran which worked for the first 3 months but then all of a sudden it stopped. A few months later a different doctor put me on the same medication which also worked for a few months and then stopped. Ive had all the tests possible done twice but have always come back clear. I was also put on imodium which has no effect on me at all. I do not eat junk food or take aways because they dont agree with me. Sometimes when i eat i suffer from a very bad pain in my stomach which feels as if the food as become stuck somewhere in my stomach. Over the last few years I have gained nearly 3 stone which I find impossible to lose even though I exercise until I cant move. Also at the time of my period i find it impossible to eat anything no matter how light it is and have pains and cramps so bad that i end up in the bed for the entire time. For the week after my period the pains are just as bad and any food I eat goes straight through me.
I would like to know if you have any advise for me or if you know of any vitimans i should take. I am currently taking the following medication:
Cymbalta - Depression
Loygon - The Pill
Nexium - For acid build up in stomach
