i smoked for 4 1/2 years and just quit 3 months ago. while i was smoking whenever i would get the slightest chill my fingers would either go completely numb or just get really tingly and stay cold for at least 30 minutes after trying to warm them up. i didnt think this had anything to do with smoking but since i quit it has been less noticeable but still happens every now and then, and i have been having cold like symptoms on and off since quitting. has anyone else had this same tingly sensation from smoking? or is it something else i should have checked out???

The numb fingers are very common with smoking.
It's called vasoconstriction. The blood vessels actually close down in size making it harder for blood to pass. It's part of why smoking increases your risk for heart disease or heart attack. As the vessel close less oxygenated blood is available to keep the tissues oxygenated.
It also happens when you get cold. Your body tries to protect the core, keep it warm, by shunting blood from the extremities.
Hope it helps.
