paracetamol is tylenol/aceptaminophen and is NOT safe for anyone with any kind of liver issue, and even in perfectly good livers can cause failure so IF you have to take it (IF is a big word) do so sparingly.

WOW. I really thought I was the only one with this problem! My arms and legs do the same thing, with my hand becoming a 'claw' that I cannot un-do. One day I was scared to death on the bathroom floor because I could barely stand up. I also have ovarian cysts.

babyak,
I am also feeling the numbness and burning down my inner thighs, its really weird and i never had it until i burned my tubes 4 months ago. My OBGYN said its nerves and i should see a specialist? why? i thought she was specialist! Everything has changed from shorter periods to the cyst popping after my period, instead of before when you ovulate. Did you go to your dr and did diagnose you. Please let me know, thanks

My 15 year old just started having this problem and I'm extremely concerned. She's been complaining for a couple of years of pins and needles and numbess in legs and arms, joint pain, back pain, but the pain would creep up at night before she'd go to sleep and disappear by the next morning. She has had frequent nausea and headaches too which occur during the day as well and they just come from nowhere at various times. Last week, however, the pain, numbness and pins and needles was worse than ever and didn't let up during the day as it had in the past. She just happened to start her period a couple of days after the onset which occurred at night and the symptoms have continued day and night, but worsending at night. I took her to a doctor who ordered blood tests and referred her for a nerve conduction test. She said she was looking for an auto immune problem. Unfortunately, the doctor who does the nerve conduction test for children is on holiday for a week and I have no idea how long it will take to get in to see her. My guess is that there might be an underlying auto immune problem and it gets triggered by hormones and by stress. As for your ovarian cyst, I had ovarian cysts in my 20s and had the first cyst removed from my right ovary which grew back on the same side (less than 3% chance for this to happen on the same side) and had to be removed again. Since I had my children, I have not had this problem again. I would highly recommend you have your cysts treated prior to getting pregnant. You don't want them to grow along with your fetus. Also, I heard, and I know you're not at this stage in life, but when you do start menopause, people who have a history of cysts should "never" go on HRT (hormone replacement therapy). So, try to keep a note of that for the future. I have asked the doctor to check my daughter's hormone levels b/c it is my personal belief that something is not right with these levels in her and I would venture to guess that might be your problem as well. Additionally, when you do have them tested, they should be tested on the 2nd day of your period over the course of 3 months so they can track it at the same time every month to get a better reading. Otherwise, our hormone levels fluctuate everyday and it would be very difficult to get a good reading unless it's done at the same time every month. Finally, I would also recommend getting on a regular exercise program at least 3 times a week in a gym (so rain or shine there are no excuses), where you get your heart pumping for at least 1/2 hour and 1/2 hour of weights. It is the only way to strengthen a body that might be otherwise weak. My daughter has not ever exercised regularly. I know that if there is a problem, her body would be much stronger to have a fighting chance to recover or deal with an illness if she had been exercising. Let me know if you find out what the cause of your symtpoms are.

Taking a multi-vitamin with iron will relieve the numbness and help with pain. Why? Have no idea but it does work. I have endometriosis and this helps me. Hope you feel better.
