I obsessively pick at my scalp and so now I'm stoping but I'm really scared as to what is going to happen when the scars are heals and what they will look like, I'm afraid there will be a permanent bump even though I've only been picking for about a month and a half, will that leave a permanent bump? Please help me I'm scared!

it needs to heal! try using a coal tar shampoo or an anti dandruf shampoo which should relieve any itch and promote healing. you will develop a scab but it wont take long for it to come off. Stop Picking! lol

Thank you so much, luckily I already have dandruff shampoo but I have never used it, done even know why my mom bought it but I'm glad she did! Once again, thank you!

Relax! Nothing is permantley scarred unless you have been doing it for several years! as BessyBaby said, anti dandruff shampoo should do the trick! Try to brush your hair carefully and don't wear a hat for awhile, let your head breathe and no more picking!
