hi there --
i will start this by saying in april i was diagnosed with hsv1, genitally. naturally once i noticed a bump down there -- i got valtrex. i've been on valtrex, 1000 mg, 2x a day, for the last five days. i have little to no pain, and the bump i have is red, tight, and almost cyst like feeling. i took a hot bath today and was able to pop it -- thick yellow puss came out, followed by blood -- not really painful at all.
there are no other bumps, lymph nodes aren't swollen, and this bump is literally just there. it's so annoying not knowing why its not reacting to medication!
any idea what this could be? i will say it surfaced right before my period, and right around shaving.
