HI everyone,  i am very worried.   when my periods became regular after i started mestruating they usually lasted from 5 to 7 days and it stayed the same until my mid twenties, then around my late twenties and early thirties they lasted from 3 to five days, now i am 34, had a baby last year and for the last two months my periods are lasting only one day and they are very very light, i mean, i don't even stain the pad i wear, i only know i got the period because when i clean myself after weeing i see blod.

I do take the pill and that makes my periods regular, so when i asked my doctor he said that if they where still regular there wasn't anything to worry about.   I can't afford to get pregnant now as my last pregnancy was very complicated and doctors adviced me not to have any more babies for a while, so i can't stop taking the pill to see how my body behaves without it.

my mum started her periods at 10 yo and i did too, and she had her menopause at 35 yo and i am worried i am going on the same wagon again, when she went to the doctors they did some tests and said that not even with hormone therapy was she going to menstruate again.

Is there any tests i can do to find out how many more eggs do i have in me or how close i am to menopause?, maybe i need to start hormone therapy now before it is too late......

any advice any one?????
Idk but does a period hurt
