Hi, I am a 28 years-old girl with terrible dysmenorrheal symptoms. My doctor has prescribed me Orudis as it is intended for menstrual pain too, but sometimes it hurts so bad and I wish to take more that prescribed. What is Orudis safe dosage? How will I know when is too much if I excess prescribed dosage?
First, you should have frequent check-ups with your doctor as ulcers or internal bleeding can occur without any warning. Take Orudis with food, some antacid or milk to minimize side effects of drug. The starting dose is 75 milligrams 3 times per day or 50 milligrams 4 times per day, but the usual dose for menstrual pain is 25 to 50 milligrams every 6 to 8 hours as needed.
