hi ive had 2 golf ball size cysts removed 5 years ago just last year I had a large one about 18cm by 19cm removed and had to get my left overy removed as well. I just found out i now have a 15cm by 16cm cyst on my right overy. my only overy. which needs to come out. Im scared they will have to remove my right overy leaving me unable to have babies. I have been thinking about getting prego now then aking the risk of not being able to have babies if they remove the right overy. Is it possible to concieve if I have a cyst of this size?Im 27yrs old

I am due to have a lap & the cysts removed this month and my dr has told me to basically start trying straight away. I dont feel ready.
I was considering starting straight after my operation but after reading your story I think ill stick to my plan of waiting a few years.

I was diagnosed with 6 cysts in my left and 8 in my right. I was in the military at the time and they told me I could never get pregnant......definetly not true!! I know have a healthy 7 month old baby. I was a very irresponsible 20 year old and didnt use protection (like a dumba**) but all those years I never got pregant. It took me a long time to concieve but I did and I'm sure you will be just fine!

I have cysts in my left ovary that doubled the size of my ovary. I was eight weeks pregnant and the baby didnt have a heartbeat. I had a miscarriage a week later and than another the day after because it was twins on two seperate spots in my uterus. it was really scary and i was only 17. I have been going through the pain since i was 14 when the dr told me i would never have kids because of endometriosis. But after i lost the babies i lost hope. Im trying to have a baby again now and its really depressing because each month we try and fail it takes an emotional toll on us. The dr told me because of the placement on the cysts i would have to remove my left ovary. Im really scared and dont know what to do because i really want to have a baby. Should i remove the ovary or hope that my right ovary will produce the egg needed...

I am 28 and had multiple ovarian cysts around the age of 24 which caused some nasty hormonal problems and alot of pain and bleeding. My doctor told me I would most likely have scar tissue which would affect fertility. I was extremely depressed about the idea of never having another child (I had one prior to the cyst issue) but I am currently pregnant with (surprise!) baby #2 in the past 3 years. It took a looong time, or so it seemed to me, to conceive my now 1 year old son. It happened like everyone always says it does, as soon as I gave up on trying. Recently discovered that in spite of being on "the pill" I am expecting again. So....don't fret. :-)
