For a long while now I've been feeling continous nausea, constant fatigue, lower back pain and sometimes I get diarrea and sometimes constipation. It's really getting to the piont where It is driving me crazy because my kids want me to do things with them but I'm just to tired. What could it possibly be? :-(
Have you seen a doctor? You should because you have a cluster of symptoms that could be attributed to many diseases and disorders. Since your children need you, I would suggest you did this as soon as possible.
According to your medical history, the symptoms, and certain tests (if necessary), a doctor will be able to determine what is going on.
Making wild guesses is needless. They can only get you more confused. See your doctor and work with him/her. Good luck! I hope everything turns out ok.

Brokas,
What did your illness turn out to be. My wife is experiencing very similar symptoms and doctors are unsure of the problem and running tests. Knowing your results could help us. Please e-mail me at _[removed]_.

Hello i read what is going on and i am 24 years old and am having the same symptoms and the doctor is saying it is nothing but stress. My blood sugar has been251 when i had nothing to eat in 5 hours my blood presure has been 167/90.
I'm having those symptoms also. I have had them for about 14 years! Nobody can tell me what's wrong. I also have constant pain in my body, like I have flu, all my body aches. I have had every test known to man - even been wired up with electrodes to do resistance tests! Nobody can say for sure what is wrong with me. I get headaches too, bad PMS, IBS unexplained pain, constant fatigue, etc.... anyone got any ideas? %-)
SuAnn,
Have you checked your PH levels? Your diet may be too acidic. If it is, you're constantly robbed of the essentials for fuel and energy. Most Americans have a PH under 7, which will make you sick in a number of different ways, white spots on finger nails, fatigue, indigestion, feeling cold all the time, ect. Google "Alkaline forming foods." Get your PH up to about 7.5 and see if you feel any better. I changed my life by getting away from farm animal products and eating mostly fruits, veggies, nuts, seeds, and fish.
Good Luck,
Dan

Hi there folks,
It sounds like fibromyalgia. It's all of those symptoms and tests come out normal. A rheumatologist experienced with fibro can diagnose it rather quickly and it's not invasive.

I am 24 years old and having the same problems. My docter says I should get blood work but every time I go I'm fine. I am on anti-depressants to see if that works, but so far nothing has worked if any one has any suggestions that would be great!
Hey SuAnn....suggest testing for an autoimmune disorder (lupus, MS, etc.)if it has not been done yet. These "vague" symptoms that point to nothing like fatigue and joint pain are markers for these types of disorders. Also, they can cause problems with organs like the gallbladder, etc that could be causing the abdominal pain.
I know the names lupus and MS are scary, but it's better to have an answer than none. Personally, I can fight anything if I know what it is. Also, some of these disorders work like cancer in that they are easier to live with and have a better prognosis if they are detected early. Just a thought to consider...

I am 20 years old and have fibromyalgia. I am constantly tired even when I get more than enough sleep. I ache all over, have headaches and feel lightheaded and nauseated a lot of the time. Along with this I have irritable bowel syndrome which is common with fibromyalgia. there are a couple things that can help...the first is a prescription patch that can be worn day or night to ease the pain of a specific area of the body and another is to ask your doctor about a sleep aid. A supplement that I have found very helpful for IBS is peppermint oil (the enteric-coated ones) which is a bowel-soother. I hope this helps some of you who are working through tests and such right now. previous to findin out i had fibromyalgia, the doctors did tons of tests and bloodwork, all of which came out negative.
Hi,
Was just reading a few of the posts and my 10 year old has been experiencing these same symptoms for three weeks now after a 24 hour virus. She has fatigue, abdominal pain and burning, nausea, etc. She has had an x-ray, sonogram and now various blood work to check for h pylori bacteria which can cause an ulcer, Lyme's disease and mono. I am also checking her for celiac disease which is an undiagnosed disease in millions of people. If you are from a European descent, you should have it checked in your blood work up. It affects your small intenstine where nutrients do not get absorbed in your body, they just pass through with the bowel. This is also commonly being found in overweight people as well. Because the body is not getting the nutrients it needs, it thinks it is being starved and holds onto anything it can including fat. You should check for this. If anyone has any answers that they found out recently, please let me know. Thanks.

I’ve had symptoms for the past 5 years. In 2002 I had a hysterectomy for endometrial cancer. After that I lost a lot of weight and had pressure on the left side radiating to the back and I became very bloated. I’ve had numerous urinary tract infections. My doctors have been sending me to other doctors and I keep on getting worse. Later in 2002 I had an ERCP where they hit my pancreas and cut the bile duct and caused pancreatitis. Still with no relief in sight, and now I was having pain, they gave me a fentonyl patch and began giving me other medications. I was quite nauseous oftentimes so they gave me a reglan drip which gave me a seizure. I never had seizures before and a phenagan drip which caused more seizures. In 2003, I had a laparoscopy where the doctor went down with his trocars and somehow the stomach and omentum were pulled to the side and I was in the hospital for a week with a tube down my throat. I have been in and out of the hospital 12 times and no one can get to the bottom of what is going on. I do not look the same as I did 6 years ago. I can not eat much, am severely constipated and all the doctors want to do is give me more medications without getting to the bottom of what’s going on. I get severe headaches, I have a pituitary adenoma, and in my right eye, I have double vision.
I hope that here I will be able to find out what is wrong with me.

I had all those samn symptoms for about a year and a half. A couple months ago my doctor finally told me i had FIBROMYALGIA. There is no sure fire way test that can be done to find this diagnosis so it can be rather hard. But all the symptoms match mine along with all the classic symptoms I have found while researching Fibro. I am still dealing with a way to feel better but I am getting closer. There are doctors out there that specialize in this syndrome, although not many. I suggest all of you checking this out. If anyone finds a good way of treating it, let me know!
Hi everybody,
I just looked through your posts and noticed that many of you aren't having any luck figuring out what's going on. Your symptoms could be caused by Celiac Disease. It is an intolerance to gluten (a protein in wheat, barley and rye). It can cause quite a range of symptoms in people and this makes it hard to diagnose. I have Celiac but didn't find out until 3 years after I started experiencing symptoms. My doctor kept telling me I was fine, so I did some research myself and asked to be tested for celiac disease. Sure enough, that was the problem. I was having symptoms such as constipation/diarrhea, stomach cramping, migraines and fatigue.
The good news is that all of the symptoms can be resolved by switching to a gluten-free diet. This means giving up any food made with wheat, barley or rye. It can be hard to make the change, but some good gluten-free foods are coming on the market.
I felt 100% better 2 weeks after going to a gluten-free diet.
So, ask your doctor to test you for Celiac Disease, or just experiment by taking wheat out of your diet and see if you start feeling better!
Good luck!
