It hurts me almost a year now, since I have noticed it for the first time. At the beginning, it was just easy pain, but now I cannot take it any more. I have noticed slight weight loss and passing blood in the stools. It looks like old blood so I am afraid it could be stomach cancer. Can anyone help me and say more about it. I am afraid to see my doctor, but it seems like the only way.

You need to know that early stomach cancer can have very mild symptoms, similar to indigestion symptoms. This might include feeling full after eating only a small meal, heartburn, and stomach pain. Some people reported nausea, vomiting and difficulty swallowing. As the cancer advances, there might be noticed some additional symptoms such as weight loss, vomiting blood, or passing blood in the stools. This is not usually fresh, red blood, but mostly dark blood, since it is partly digested coming from stomach. The blood loss may go unnoticed, but over a period, can cause anemia. Many people suffer the symptoms of indigestion, but it is important to know that vast majority do not have stomach cancer. I could not tell you exactly what your diagnosis is, but if you notice vomiting for more than a few days, or if it contains blood, you should see your doctor. Unexplained or sudden weight loss, difficulty swallowing, and persistent abdominal pain are also enough reason to see your doctor. I would give you advice to go to your doctor and check with him what is your diagnosis.
