pain during intercourse

I am 51 yrs. old. I have not had a period in 10 months. i am having pain during intercourse. i am not having a vaginal dryness problem. the pain that i am having feels like my uterus hurts also pain on my left side. I do have uterine fibroids could this be the cause of the pain?
