My boyfriend and I have been together for a year now and we used to have sex a lot until about 3 months ago it started to burn, then it became impossible, it was painful and burned really bad, I went to the doctor and she said I have genital herpes, but I took all the medication she gave me and it still hurts to have sex, I dont even attempt it anymore and it's starting to affect my relationship, it feels like the vaginal opening doesnt want to stretch anymore, and when I try to stretch it it burns and hurts really bad, is this related to the herpes, or is this something else??? %-)
Genital Herpes may be a cause of your problem. Irritation, burning may also be a sign of bacterial or fungal infection, did you doctor make some physical or laboratory analysis to determined the cause of your problem?
No. My doctor didnt say anything other than "you have genital herpes." I'm going back soon tho to get looked at again, hopefully she can tell me what's wrong.
