Hi I have the same pain that you guys are describing on Friday I had a colonospy and a upper GI.  My doctor looked in my stomach and say nothing but some fatty tissues around my stomach walls he said that his where the pain may be coming from.  All I know is that my left side under my stomach and my upper side hurst real bad I'm naeause and dizzy.  They first said it was divertulistits and change my eating habits.  Now they want me to exercise with walking but I hurt so bad.  I used to be very activite with zumba, walking but know I hurt so bad and nothing for pain helps so I don't even worry about taking medicine for pain.  I hope we all can find out what is wrong fast.  If anyone can give me any Ideas let me know.

Count me in too. I've been almost black listed by doctors who act like I'm crazy. My husband can feel them but the docs just say anxiety... What the heck!

You are taking the words right out of my mouth. It all started about 5 yrs ago when I added extra protein to my smoothies. I felt like I gained 20 pounds over night and every fat tissue hurt. It still hurts, but (un)fortunatly I have an analytical mind and I investigated on my own. I got so tired of beeing smiled at like it's all in my head. From auto-immune, Lupus, food-allergy, Adiposis dolorosa to Fibromyalgia, one thing I noticed, when I ate Proteins and especially red meat, I was extremely hurting the next morning. Every Doc looked at me like I'm crazy, but I didn't care. I felt the pain. I still don't know what it is, but I try to stay with white meat and fish, got traMADol and Gabapentin for the pain and headaches and found Pancreatic enzymes to take after meal. It helps but the pain is still there. Since there are no tests for Dercum's you are pretty much at the mercy of the narrow minded, box thinking doctors. I do have Epstein-Barr virus and extreme allergy to pretty much all environment.

Oh gosh, I have something very similar for the past few months. I have pain in my abdominal area and severe acid reflux. Fat pain hurts like a hernia and somtimes feels like it's tearing or ripping like claws, plus food aches as it moves through my colon. It started sometime in the past 4 months. I had my first "routine" colonoscopy at the end of November and never felt quite the same. Some other things that happened: I was moving and used Easy Off oven cleaner. I half-cleaned it out but forgot to finish wiping it out before I cooked a frozen pizza and started eating it. I moved to a home in the country that had right-out-of-the-ground well water. And I also switched automatic dishwashing detergent to Cascade Complete pods. I was eating a lot of junk and fast food for about 2 months before I settled in. So, I don't know if it was the physical operation, a bacterial infection or chemical ingestion that is causing my continuing discomfort. I'm starting to panic because it's not getting better, and is likely getting worse. Or is an extra 5 pounds sending me over the edge? I don't know! And all I can do is match possible causes to the time period. Going to schedule a GI specialist appointment soon. It's giving me a lot of anxiety. I've moved back to city water and thrown out the dishwasher detergent pods. Gawd I wish it woud fix itself. My best guess is an infection took hold after the colonoscopy.

This sounds like most likely either liver or pancreas issue. If the bile flow is not normal, your liver cannot excrete toxins. Accumulation of toxins becomes an issue. Too many conditions to list. Liver blood work may not be accurate representation of condition.

My daughter has skin that is painful to touch above her belly button. It's a rectangular area and recently began to turn brownish.  Before this she had problems with nausea, poor appetite, fatigue, and reflux.  Those have mostly stopped but then this painful area develpoed.

All of her problems began after she receieved a third HPV vaccine, Gardasil, in Jan 2013. It began  3 days after the shot.  Her gastroenterologist believes she had a reaction to the shot which has affected her nerves.

You might want to check your vaccination records to see if there is a link.

I'm going to say you may be losing weight. Drink more water, get at least eight hours of sleep, take in fresh air and some sun during the day. :)
