I have been having pains in my left lower abdomen. The best way to describe it is as a headache in my ovary. It is throbbing at times or it is dull but it is constant and has been for three days. I have had ectopic pregnancies in both sides and a removal in my left 5 months ago but this has never happened. I called my doc and went to the ER just to make sure i wasnt pregnant again but im not so what do you think is causing this pain?

I started to get the pains in the left side 2 months after having my son, this is going back 3yrs now. The pains are now to a point of unbearable. I haven't seen a doc about it perhaps I will now.
To the guest who recently posted--definitely sounds like a good idea for you to get to a doctor as soon as possible. It probably isn't much for you to worry about because it's more than likely just a pulled muscle. But it's a good idea to check with your doctor because that sort of pain is abnormal and after a pregnancy, it sounds like it's likely to be related to it. Please keep us posted on how it goes!
Well i'm 20 years old, never been Prego in my life, I have been on the depo only 2 times got in back in may of 09 and than i got off it for a while, and i just got back on it in june of this year, and i know this may sound very crazy but i do want a baby and i have had sex plently of times but never ever got Prego and i have been trying and nothing ever happens, my friends say u will one day it takes time... but i was in the bathroom and i had very sharp pains in my somatch that i cant even explain it hurt like somebody was cutting me with a knife or something, my friend says it could be something like a bladder infection or kendy stones, But than again I really dont know im not a doctor and i have never been Prego ever, my grandma and mom dont want me to be prego because they thing im not Mentaly ready for this and people tell me its very hard yes i know all of this but its what i want, and ive been having the same probloms and I dont know what could be the problom i know i have a somatch virus but that could be it i really have no idea i really need to know whats going on with me. so if anyone could help me id really be happy Thanks :-)
Hi, did you ever find out what your symptoms were/are? I have been suffering the same for the last 12 months. I was given medication to treat ittitable bowel, which didn't sort out the problem, referred for an ultrasound and they found nothing at all (the medics conducted both an external and internal one). Finally they referred me to a gynaecologist for an examination and he put it down to endometriosis. I had a laporoscopy last week and they burnt the endometriosis away. I am 7 days into my recovery and I am still having the pains, which is now concerning me,will you let me know if you find out what your pains are? Thanks Emma
