I had mine removed. It was about the size of a nickel . And the scar tissue or it grew back, is equally as painful. It was just a fatty deposit. . And now my back hurts all the time. This is possibly due to weight gain. Since I gained weight, 20lbs . . It has been constant. I can feel it moving and being squished when I move my upper body in circles. It's terrible. I spent nearly 500 to have this removed and it just came back. How depressing!!!

Okay, I had the surgery. Had them removed two days ago. Still sore from being operated on, but not the same kind of spasmodic pain as before. In between the consult with the doctor, where he said, "I think they're lipomas." and the surgery, I sent him an article on myofascial fat herniations. He actually read it. After the surgery, he came in and said, "they were what you thought they were. And they were so deep into the muscle, that they were probably causing you pain." Needless to say, he is my hero, and if anyone lives in the Western NC area, I'll be happy to give you his name!!!!

That is what I felt. I went to the chiropractor and he adjusted my spine. The sciatic pain went away but the lumps are still there. Sometimes I think laying on my stomach or sitting with my legs folded sets them off and they start hurting again.

HI. I know this was a year ago, but could you perhaps provide me the massage therapists number? My husband has the same problem and he's in lots of pain. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I have this if I get an attack I cannot walk. I started having monthly massages and have the therapist spend most of the time working my lower back it has helped tremendously. I have not had a massage in 6 months and now it is starting to hurt again I think from work stress and I am going back for a massage this week.

lipoma or back mouse. Different doctors have told me different things. One said they can inject them with lidocaine another one said to try taking lyrica for nerve pain. I have not done either try getting regular massages it worked for me

Have you tried applying for medicaid? I had to do it recently when my work hours were cut drastically due to a new health issue that became chronic (I have also been on FMLA leave as well as a medical leave). I don't like having to use it but I can no longer afford the insurance I had through my job. You may also be able to apply for unemployment due to your health issues keeping you from being able to work.
