had a hida scan/ultrasound/blood work up no stones not enough in the numbers to qualify for gallbladder removal, hidascan made pain go away before,doc baffled. It's back again wondering if its sphingter of oddity or sludge buildup, since doc did not seem to too concerned should I find another one or be more persistent. Occasionally I get pains in right side under ribcage too, stabbing but then it goes away. Colonoscopy good,also have acid reflux and take lipitor.
Lipitor!!!? That's for cholesterol! So I was just wondering if your skin turns yellow too, or just your stools?
I have a similar symptom and my doc didn t sem to know what to do with me either. he sent me to a physiatrist? weird cuz right back (flank) pain is only when i have to go to the bathroom at night. made worse with deep inhalation and when i'm lying on my back. Better after bowel movement (BM). It's waking me up at night and increasing in frequency this last week. After BM, no more pain.
Did you happen to find out what was going on with you? maybe i can give the docs a hint.
