I've had this problem under the right side of my chin and throat, at random times it gets very painful and swallowing, but sometimes its just normal and I don't even feel it. It started a couple months ago, I've seen 3 ENT doctors, and over 10 other specialists. I'm 18 and my parents were very worried it was something serious. I've had MRI, Endoscopy, CT-Scans, barium swallow, and nothing shows up. I had a endoscopy through my nose, and they can't see anything. I've also had multiple blood tests and everything is normal. I've also started to notice 1 of my nostrils is always stuffed and congested. It switches but one of them are always stuffed. I've also had these random headaches/lightheaded feelings that I didn't use to have. The doctors said to give it time and it should get better, but I really don't understand how this randomly came. I've never had any problems like this before. Any ideas?

Did you ever find out what was wrong? Strange thing is I've had the exact symptoms for a while. The lightheaded/dizziness started first and last for quite a while - they come and go, then recently the pain in the lower right chin area thougth to the throat. It feels like a cramping of the area. When I feel the area with my fingers there seems to be a glad on the right side of the larnx that extends up towards the chin. It gets real scary when the pain comes on. Like I said before, like a cramp - makes me feel like it's going to stay cramped forever as if you're not going to be able to swallow, pretty scary.
When I typed in a search on the Web, I was looking for the symptoms in the right lower chin/throat area, so when you mentioned lightheaded/dizziness you really surprised me.
