Hello,

I'm not really sure this is the right section, so my apologies if I'm completely off here, but I'm a little desperate.

I woke up half an hour ago and it felt like my back hurt when I was waking up. I remember rolling on the bed a few times while i was still half asleep, trying to get rid of the pain. It hurt on my mid-lower back.

When I finally got up I realized that it hurt a lot more when I take a deep breath, I'm having to control my breathing right now, otherwise it hurts a lot.

It also doesn't feel like just back pain anymore either, it's more painful around my belly button when i take a deep breath.

The pain when I don't take a deep breath is constant but not intolerable, but it's pretty bad when I do.

Also, I had fish sticks last night, about 3 hours before I went to bed, i took a bite out of one and it was still cold and raw on the inside (they were frozen), but I still ate it. I'm not sure if this could be it, it was about a third of a fish stick but I figured I'd mention it.

I'm pretty clueless about this, I've never had this before, so I'd really appreciate the help.
What is causing pain in the left side when I take a deep breath?
