A few days ago I found a lump on my gum, it is really quite sore when I touch it and makes it quite difficult to eat. I have braces, since about a year ago, and due to my teeth being moved theres a gap between my two front teeth. I'm now in the "last stages" of my treatment and the gap is beginning to close up. The lump is behind my two front teeth and it seems as if the gum is growing down between them! It doesn't feel soft or squishy or anything, it just feels like swollen gum. I've got good dental hygeine and I try to brush my gums. I'm too afraid to go to the dentist incase I have to have an injection or needle of any kind, I've got a fear of having injections in my mouth. Does anyone have any idea on what this lump could be and how to get rid of it? Thankyou! :-)
try pokeing it with a q-tip. if it pops and it is verry bloody, it is normal. it will deflate, hope this helps!
