I've been suffering chronic sinusitis for about the last 3 years. Recent trip to the hospital resulted in the consultant saying I've got a deviated septum, a septal spur and enlarged turbinates or something like that.
I was put on a steroidal nosespray a good few months back but stopped after about 2 months on it as I'd start getting small amounts of blood when I blew my nose (no nosebleeds or anything though), and that seemed to stop it.
Lately for the last 3-4 weeks I've been getting bad pains on the inside of my nose - like the tingly feeling you get pre-sneeze, but instead of just tingling it hurts - the pain wasn't too bad but it's got worse and hurts a lot! Sometimes it'll cause my eyes to water, it's that strong. I don't just get it when sneezing either - it's not constant but will just come on from no where and then go again.
Is this sinus-related or not? I've got another hospital trip next week but if it's likely to be something else I'll pop to my GP beforehand - got a cold at the minute so it's hurting every time I sneeze, which is a lot!
