I will share a few things with you, your OBGYN needs to look at whether you have an infection, so if you also have difficulty peeing it should be that. I am on Aruba, and my OBGYN asked me if I had issues peeing as well and I did! It burned so much. I did not have any other symptoms except the pain and the searing burning when urinating, he gave me some meds and I refused to drink them thinking I just needed to wait more to heal (3 months???).
Then I fished my meds out of the meds cabinet and took the 3-4 he gave me over the next few days, I peed pinkish for 3 days and then the pains were all gone.
Hang in there, good luck/ have fun! =)
I gave birth to a baby boy 2 months back and unfortunately the baby passed away after 5 days. Me and my husband are still recovering from the tragedy but want to get pregnant again soon. My husband is patient enough to wait but I am not. Yesterday I forced him to give it a try but it hurt so badly and I bleeded. I will go for a check up soon but just don't wish to hear from the doctor about a waiting period !! so desperately need a kid to console my crying heart!!
I've noticed that increasing my water I take, a bit of exercise and using an inner moisturizer has helped reduce the pain.
It's suprisingly common and yet doctors don't have a lot of answers it seems based on alot of these kinds if posts ive found. For me sex is uncomfortable to start and gets better once we are into it. However,I have mild pain on entry from the scaring. I started using a little coconut oil inserted and left overnight to help the scaring heal and have notices a slight difference already in a few days. But there are sex positions I can't do anymore because of something further inside. A friend of mine who had pain for 2 years said doing the pelvic floor excersizes really helped. Good luck.

Hi.... I am having the same issues as you, I had a c-section 5 years ago and I'm still in a lot of pain having intercourse. Its like you put your hand in hot water and it burns your hand, well it feels like that in the vagina. I also have problems with my periods. I have seen a OBGYN about this and same with my family doctor, and I'm looking into getting a hysteractomy for that. I also been on the birth control pill since I was 12 yrs of age. I tried going onto the Depo Shot but I bled for 3 months straight with only 5 day stopage. So I have a bleeding problem when I get them or get off the pill. I had a really bad pregancy so I know its part of that. So now I'm going to different routes to find out what I can do. Hope this helps you. Please go see a OBGYN and family doctor and find out what is going on.
I just read your post. I feel like it is the same thing that I went through with my 2 births. With me, it magically went away after I stopped breastfeeding... (6months with the 1st and a year with the 2nd) which leads me to believe that it was hormone related. I did go to my OB/gyn with no help. This doesn't seem to be a well known problem. My hormone levels were checked and at normal levels. We even tried a numbing cream that burned like fire until it kicked in. We didn't try that again! I feel for you. My only suggestion is to research hormone levels and possibly pH too. I know it's not a lubrication issue. My husband could even tell I "felt" different. I only found your post because I am considering surrogacy for a family member and didn't want to go through this again!
At my 6 week checkup the doctor said everything was normal and I could have sex when I felt like it. My husband was waiting in the car, he had been waiting patiently for this day. When I got in the car I noticed he had an erection and obviously was so turned on that he could hardly drive. When we got home he went straight to the bedroom and asked me if I was coming. By the time I finished in the bathroom he had his clothes off and had the biggest erection I had ever seen. I was feeling ok, no pain but wasn't aroused like him. I undressed and got in bed and he jumped on top of me and I stopped him and said he had to take it real slow because it might hurt the first time. He started to put it in and it did hurt, the deeper he went the more it hurt. Then he lost control and went all out and I screamed for him to stop but he was so turned on he couldn't stop and continued for another 2-3 minutes until he climaxed. I was screaming and crying all the time. When it was over he was so sorry and said he had waited so long he just couldn't help it. That was 2 months ago and I haven't slept with him since. I make him sleep in the guest room and won't let him in my bed. I don't know if I can ever forgive him for that day.
I have same problem been to gynecologist and have to get a prescription of 'dildo' looking things and use them for next 6months if that doesn't help will be having key hole surgery to see what's going on inside its that painful that we have only managed it once since having my lb 5 months ago it was also painful during my pregnancy but not as bad as it is now!!
