Hello! I had a Csection 4 weeks ago. I feel very good so my husband and I tried to have sex the other night, only it felt like it my vagina was swollen. He couldn't even put the tip in!! (sorry for being so descriptive) anyway, the following day, he noticed a rash on the head of his penis and a little burning...last time this happen I had an yeast infection. Only I don't feel any of the symptoms I did last time...could I have an yeast infection and not have any symptoms?? Or could it be something else??
One thing is for sure - something has caused the swelling of your vagina and since you haven't experienced any major infection symptoms there is a chance that this actually is a yeast infection, only the reason are the yeast that normally do live around vaginal area and in some occasions they can start to overgrow and cause problems. Have you been on antibiotics after C-section? But, if the condition is such that your vagina is swollen to this point, I think you will need to have this checked out.
