Hi, I'm a 22 year old student from the UK and have noticed heart palpitation after hard exercise since training at Judo, Rowing and other exercises for the past 5 or so years.
To cut a long story short, I notice these palpitations after or during hard exercise when doing circuit training, rowing or judo. They by no means occur all of the time and I'm fairly certain that they are only when training hard. A lot of people like to describe the sensation as fluttering, but the most graphic way I can think of describing the feeling is that I have a sudden sensation of the two separate chamber areas beating that comprise the heart's movement. Put as best as possible, it feels as if the two separate 'pumping' actions are much more distinct than normal but I'm not certain that my BPM actually increases as such. The sensation doesn't make me black out or faint, but merely makes me feel very very slightly light-headed sometimes.
I have had stress tests carried out on a treadmill as well as being pumped full of adenosine(??) (nasty, nasty stuff!!!) to try to display any electro-cardio issues which showed that there was nothing present (I was filled with quite a lot of this stuff - 2 vials?? to really draw out any issues that could be there). I have also had an ultrasound carried out on my chest and at numerous angles to assess everything which also came out to be absolutely fine. I was then loaned a portable recorder to place on my chest and record any issues, but unfortunately nothing happened in the few weeks I had it and I returned it.
The palpitation last happened around 6-7 weeks ago while doing a 30 minute hard ergo on the rowing machine after a long period with little exercise and sitting in an office for weeks. I'm basically stumped as to what it could be and interested if anyone can agree with me on the sensation I have described or any ideas as to what the condition may be? I have read one description of a doctor who stated that sometimes the ventricles can have trouble keeping up with the flow of blood during hard exercise..?
Thanks in advance for your help everyone :-)

Pay more attention to your liver. Drink lemon juice with honey on empty stomach. It solves my problems, same as yours.
Ok, how does this combination help the liver and prevent the heart from doing what it does during hard exercise?
Thanks, Ryan
Thanks, Ryan
Normally the liver takes(holds) 15% of the body's blood supply. When exercise up to 20% and more . So if the heart gets trouble keeping up with the flow of blood in 22 years old , it is not because of the heart but of the organs where the blood flows.
Hey ryan can you email me I had similarities I am runner and do light weights and encounter that seemed like you. ***edited by moderator*** ** inappropriate posting**
