I am here today with a little good news your not doomed after pancreatitis and gallbladder removal. I was diagnose with necrosis pancreatitis last year. Everyone recovery is different I didn't eat for six weeks after I left hospital but my recovery has been good since i started eating. This is how i do it, I stay low fat for six months, Used none process coconut oil for any fry food, chicken, Bake fish, Tofu, almond milk, Ginger tea, Dandelion tea and probiotic supplements. You might need clearance from your gastroenterology for the probiotics supplements. But probiotics and ginger is crucial for strengthening your liver to digest better since you no longer have a gallbladder, now am even able to eat ice cream and fries again but i don't over do it i have no more than 1 high fat food in 1 meal or in 1 day. These I am about to name is a must to stay away a from while healing: Pork of any kind, Beef, alcohol and caffeine. After no attack or flare up in six months to a 1 year you can try venturing out, now take into consideration it depends on how good your health was before pancreatitis occurs if you don;t have any other health issue you will be good to go with this approach it works very well for me and my Mom. I hope this will be helpful for anyone having these problems out there..
