Hello. I'm 23 years old and I'm student. What can I say about my self? I can say only that I was one of the best students on my faculty and now, I'm not so good because I can't study anymore.
The reason is simple, I started to feel depressed. I don’t know what could be the cause. I'm sure that braking up with my girlfriend has something to do with it but I'm sure this isn’t the only cause. Simply, I have got into one period of life where nothing seams to be right for me.
My parents did notice this and they are also concern but I think that thing that is bothering them the most is my bed marks.
They don’t understand me at all, because, they are thinking this is some usual adolescent crisis.
What should I do?

Well I can tell you some things about depression and hopefully this might help you and probably calm you down.
You are right, sometimes there is no obvious reason or trigger for depression. It can start by it self but you must be able to find the things that can relieve your symptoms.
You shouldn’t blame your parents for not understanding you because I doubt you have ever talked with them about your problems. So they are talking like they do because they are not familiar with your problems and possible triggers of your depression.
You should talk with them more often and try to build some relationship with them based on understanding and respect.
Interact socially with others and try to develop independence and decision making skills
If this doesn’t help- consider using some antidepressants.
