So about a week ago I had a Laproscopic Appendectomy. I feel mostly fine and well, as well as one can feel a week after the operation, but I have a question about some irritation that has been going on for a few days with my penis.
I'm uncircumsized, and the opening of my foreskin is pretty red, and very sensitive. It hurts to retract my foreskin and really feels like it doesnt want to retract fully, something I had no problem with before. Now, before the operation, I had rarely gone a day going without sex or wanking(for some reason you cant say mast-er-bate), but being knocked up with the surgery, there was a good 3-4 days of no touching, no erections, where I hadnt had sex/wanking, and I'm wondering(hopefully) if that was the cause. The skin on the gland of my penis is peeling aswell, but my main concern is the extreme tenderness and redness of the foreskin, but just at the opening, and then also some skin peeling on the inside of the forskin. I can wank fine, but the heat of the semen also irritates the skin. Could this have been from the catheter or related to the surgery at all? It's causing me a good deal of discomfort and pain, and I would love to get this sorted out.
And please, if you are going to recommend anything as barbaric and disgusting as circumcision, dont waste your time, as that horrid practice is simply out of the question.
Again, I had no problems at all before I went in for the surgery, and I'm wondering if the amount of time not getting an erection/etc. had anything to do with what I'm feeling, and if it will go away. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Hmmm has washing been an issue? If so you might have a touch of balanitis -- a bacterial buildup. If it's dry and peeling, using a moisturizer made for the penis (like Man1 Man Oil) could be helpful. But if you have an infection, you'll need a medicated cream possibly.
