I'm 19 years old and basically, I usually have quite regular periods, an exact week or less and then nothing more until I'm due for my next period. My boyfriend and I had a week to ourselves last week and I was due on my period and so to delay it for the week I took the contraceptive pill a couple of days before the week started because before when I have been on the pill it has stopped my bleeding straight away. However, regular as clockwork I came on my period on the day I was supposed to and it lasted for around 6 days. So when I had stopped bleeding completely, we had sex, once in the evening and then once the following morning, and I was absolutely fine, no blood for the rest of that day (Friday). Yesterday, I started bleeding really heavily like a full on period again, and there are dark clots in the blood and the blood is almost black. Should I worry? :/
Also I might add, I continued taking the pill throughout the week that I was on my period in the hope that it may stop earlier (and not wanting to stop halfway through the pack), just thought this information might be useful.
The clots are dark because of the pills changin the cycle older bloid n clots ard dark n almost black dont worry but if it happens again and again seek medicsl advisd good luck hopr it helped
