I am 37 years old and have five children the youngest of which is twelve. My husband had a vesectamy twelve years ago. I have been having back pain and server bloating, tenderness of the breasts, etc....i went to the doct becuase I though I had a kidney infection (another story). After listening to my symptoms and noticing that I had put on weight since August he did a pregnancy test (urine) and it came back positive. He decided to folow up with a blood test and it will be a couple of days before I know for sure. Does anyone know the likelyhood of my really being pregnant. Please help!

Unlikely if you were on your period, however it would depend on the length of your normal cycle. Remember sperm can only live for between 3 and 5 days in optimal fertile conditions. So if you have a 28 day period and he came inside you on day 4 or 5, the sperm would not live until days 12 to 16 when you would normally be ovulating,
I have a lot of pain in my lower stomach and I have had a positive test, so does that mean I really am pregnant or should I do another test to make sure?
