Possible 12-13 weeks preg but tests are inconsistant Need more info

I am 36 years old mother of 2. I am currently out of work with no income. That is why I am posting here. Had a normal for me period Oct 2008 (so heavy overflow 2 pads in half hour major clots...same since I was 12) Had sex end of Oct about a week after my period and thru middle of November. Missed period in November. First week of December and test was a definate positive. I started my period the same night. Was lighter than norm more like a normal persons. I could even sit on the furiture without fear or having to sit on plastic or a towel. Had no cramping which is unusual for me but had been having morning sickness previously as well as engorged breasts and itchy belly. I tested after the 3rd day of period when was only spotting (unusual for me) test was so light was hard to read so I tested again the next morning with first urine test was darker but still so light hard to read even in daylight. Waited a day and went to a clinic had a volunteer take test she had a nurse confirm results. Test was negative but the symptoms persisted. The volunteer said I had a chemical and lost the baby. But if the symptoms persisted come back around Jan 11 and do anohter test. THe syptoms persisted. I am getting bigger, still have nausea and dizzy when bend over, moody, emotional,and now feeling movement of some sort even when I lay on my back with hands on belly can feel it in my hands. My 5 year old told me my belly thumped her when she was laying on me. Went to a different clinic since mine wasnt available on the day I decided to test again. THis clinic has more nurses and is more informed more professional. Was again on 3rd day of period spotting only period was lighter than the previous one with absolutely no clots at all and still no cramping. This period could be considered more of heavy spotting than an actual period. Only bled when on the toilet. I use only pads and no tampons. The first test they administered there was a dot in the positive window not a line so she couldnt say it was positive or negative and used the same urine sample to do another test which was negative. She said there are a lot of women that cant get a positive and Also since I was on a period and just had one that can also lower HCG (the opposite of what the previous volunteer had said she had said HCG never gets lower if you are preg) The nurse said I was further along since they use the same method doctors use...calculation by last norm period and not by when I had sex since the average woman doesnt know when she could have concieved since they have sex more frequently I had only been active for 2-3 weeks and the male went out of town for holidays. I checked on the net and found in the 2nd trimester a womans HCG gets lower and the nurse said this will make it even more difficult to get positive reading on me. She said to call a bunch of doctors and tell them my story to see if one can do a blood test free. I have to have a positive reading at a clinic or dr office to get medicaid. She also said since a period can lower HCG to wait a few weeks and test again but if I am then I am 12-13 weeks along and starting my 2nd trimester. I read about cervix position on this site and checked mine last night. It is high and soft dont know if open or closed different from normal since I havent checked it since haveing children (1 baby in 2003 and 1 in 2005) There is a lot of vaginal fluid and is clear and watery but sticky after only a few seconds on my finger. Mostly clear only a little white to it. I have a heart condition that is aggrivated by pregnancy and petite mal seizures caused by an old head injury but they are controled without meds since I refuse to take the meds. I am also a large woman so is hard to see body changes although I have noticed I am getting bigger in tummy and tummy is harder. All of this make detection as soon as possible imperitive for me for the sake of the baby as well as myself. Is it possible I didnt lose the baby and am still pregnant? Is there a way to find out that doesnt require begging from a bunch of different doctors?
