I had the Novasure procedure on May 18th 2016. My Obygn did the procedure in the hospital and everything seemed to go well. I had some cramping that day, but lil to no discharge after. Had a weird smell the last week, which I figured was from burning the lining. I go back for a post-op appt later next week. This morning I woke up running to the bathroom and lo and behold I started my period. Big clots and very heavy like all my other periods are. The thing I'm concerned about is before I had the procedure done on my period(they'll usually come every 21-25 days) and me bleeding today it's only been 18 days since I started my last one. Is this how it's gonna be?!!! The reason I even had this procedure was cause I had my tubes tied last yr when my son was born and my periods were 7 days long and had to wear super plus tampons changing them every 1-2 hours the entire time (never worn super plus tampons in my life even after all my other children) and i didnt want to have to take birth control just to regualate them. I didnt want to have to worry about my periods being so bad anymore. Did anyone else have this issue? I know it hasn't been long since the procedure, but I hope that it at least drastically shorts my periods if not completely stops.

I had my Novasure 6/28/16. No problems during the procedure and light brownish discharge. Today is Day 9 and I am bleeding very heavy with clots. Changing my pad every 30 minutes. How can this be normal?

I am on day three. Yesterday I had a little spotting and all day today fine. Now I am bleeding every time I move. I have changed 3 times in half an hour x hoping this is normal?

Hi was like this no real bleeding or discharge. Then to day 6 days post o.o I started cramping like a period and then lots of fresh blood. No old stuff no clots yet either. I am so very confused. This is not what I expected.

I had the nova sure done yesterday Dec 8 2017 and I bleed yesterday and had horrible cramps and it was also in my back it felt like I was in labour but today no bleeding.

I had NovaSure done in April 2017. Had moderate bleeding after procedure. Had a heavy period, which my OB/GYN said was normal. Had very light bleeding that I only had to wear pantyliners for til August. September came and I began to bleed heavily again. Called my OB/GYN and he put me on birth control. Which doesn't help because my period comes whenever it wants to and I bleed and/or spot everyday. I'm wearing pads or pantyliners everyday. At this point I am not sure if I want to see my OB/GYN again and start seeing someone else because I've had to call him every single month since September and nothing has been done. Any suggestions ladies? I get so embarrassed during intimacy because if I don't spot it looks like a murder scene from all of the bleeding.
