Post-Scabies Marks Recurring

I too, had scabies about 4 or 5 years ago, and every now and then I also get what looks like little blisters, mainly on the bottoms of my feet. These little bastards do itch tremendously and they are filled with a clear thick liquid just like you stated. But once the "pop", I'd say like maybe 2-5 days afterwards they seem to go away until the next annoying appearance.... I wonder; is this something we're gonna have to deal with for the rest of our lives? Cause if so, that really freakin blows....

Hi everyone, If someone would please offer me some insight it would greatly be appreciated. I am going through post-scabies at the moment! Did your bumps gradually disappear or was it fairly quick in the last stretch of time. Im a college male, and am so embarrassed about dropping my pants for the first time after this terrible infestation. Thanks!

Thank you so much, this was very nice to read, especially with all of the negative things people write online about scabies. I have treated myself with permethrin 5 times over the past month. After my 4th treatment I thought I was finally cured, but 7 days after a nodule appeared on my scrotum, and because I thought I was reinfested I treated myself again for the 5th time. I'm glad to think that now I might probably be cured for good, but at the same time it's hard to stay positive when new bumps appear. Thank you so much for sharing your experience.

Hello - I have one strain of bartonella and the skin on my hands and arms appear to have scabies as well - following treatment for scabies lyclear x 2 the skin is still sore and red and itchy in the evening - but the lesions are now coming to the surface - i have been a nurse and had to use alcohol excessively on my hand and arms so my skin is compromised - I am aware of the travel bugs one can get and that includes ricketsia and other tick borne problems - how many others unknowingly have these bugs in their system and just think it is scabies?

Hi guys, ive just been dealing with a hard to get rid of scabies as well. Well i think it was scabies, my doctor wasnt very helpful. Its some kind of parasite,bug or mite.To be honest its been a horrible nightmare. Its been 5 months well 7 if you include where i didnt have any symptoms but ive learned a lot and have found some products which i think have worked however its still early days as i got rid of it before but then got reinfected. Anyway going through this horrible ordeal of cleaning obsessivly,looking for cures obsessively, spending hundreds of pounds on a million different products,looking at different forums obsessively and feeling suicidal etc i really noticed that there just isnt enough help for people who are going this. This is worse than any kind of jail as you cant get away from it. This has been the hardest thing ive ever had to go through and ive been through a lot of sh*t. Well i thought i had but this sh**s all over that :) .So i decided to make a website to help people who are going through the same things about mites and parasites to try and make things a bit easier. I put a little bit about the arsehole bugs, my story,my recommendations for products and links to products so if your not sure where to buy them ive found places you buy them off the internet. Its a work in process as im not a professional and its not completely finished or polished and im working to get better at it. However im adding different stuff to it when i get a chance around my work so i havent uploaded everything yet but the basics are there. I would really appreciate you checking my site out as you never know it might help in some way and i would also really appreciate if you do if you could give me any feedback or reccommendations of products or things that have helped you in any way to deal with this and if you become a member which is free and annommanus i can let you know when there are updates on any new reccommends and hopefully if we all pull together we can get rid of these fuckers for good! no only ivermectin and permethrin will work

I honestly had to go to mexico due to us dermatologist NOT refilling Ivermectin and Permethrin. Spanish derms told me to take Iver. & perm for 40 days straight. I kid you not. I had Scabies for 2 years with Nothing else working and I tried EVERYTHING out of pure desperation. I suffered no side effects or toxitity, or reactions. The only thing that happened was it worked!! Don't waste your time and do this. Ivermex and scabisan. over the counter in Mexico. also Eurax cream is amazing for itch. STOPS it instantly and is a scabicide.

Coconut oil will help repair skin

You probley have had them that long. I have had them for 2 years now . I havent found the information on "post scabies" to be true.if your itching you have them ........

Permetherin
Moxidectin
Ivermectin
Tea tree oil
Sulfur
And bleach.
Nothing works and it keeps spreading to coworkers and family alike. (Hand shake passes them)

I definitely have post scabies. Real infection is 4Month ago, now went to the doc and he said the test says its scabies. But no itching at night so i guess the answer is clear...
I'm going to reduce stress right know to lower the allergic reaction!

I'm 71, have no earthly idea how I got scabies. No sex for 16 years since a divorce. 2 rounds of permethrin. I get HORRIBLE itching, burning. About to finish a round of Prednisone. Some during the day, flare-ups at night and in the morning. Also just finished a round of antibiotics, Cephalexin, because of cracked, bleeding knuckles, between fingers. I have YET to have any dr see me. Misdiagnosed for 3 weeks, and 2 weeks befire that I thought the itching under my breasts and armpits was a yeastcinfection, so I tried treating it myself. This is a nightmare. I take antihistimine to help with itching, burning, and to get some sleep. It's been about 10 + weeks. The Permethrin excoriated my skin. Dermatologist's P.A.was the one who diagnosed scabies. My dr's P.A. prescribed Nystatin cream initially for a yeast infection. Office isn't open to patients yet, so it was a Facetime-like exam. No success with 2cweeks of Nystatin, then she prescribed Fluconozole pills for yeast infection. Gave up when that didn't help and did get in to see a P.A. at Dermatology office. She was the ine who diagnosed scabies, prescribed Permethrin.I called back the next day...my skin BURNED terribly. Derm. P.A. called back, said to keep treatingvwith Permethrin. Called an Urgent Care a few days later. A dictir called back, said she "understood" what I was going thruvwith terrible burning, intense itching. She precribed...another Permethrin treatment, 6 days after the first. I did it and suffered the next day after showering it off. Several days after that I was seen by an Urgent Care P.A. who prescrived Ceohalexin and antihistimine. She told me to go back to the dermatologist, and "don't take no for an answer." Called dermatology office as soon as I left Urgent Care. P.A. who initially diagnosed scabies asked, "How do you feel about taking some Prednisone?" What did THAT mean? I only know it's a steroid. She prescribed Prednisone, and I have almost finished the prescription. Meanwhile my dr's office calked, having received the info from dermatology office, etc. The P.A. listened to the history of symptoms since she prescribed meds fir a yeast infection, then said she had another phone call appountment, and "There's nothing else we can do for you." I guess she meant that there is nothing else they can prescribe to give me some relief. Derm P.A. called to check on me sev days later. I felt pretty goid that day and thought I was MAYBE turning a corner. Now last night, a Friday night, I was having INTENSE itching, esp between my fingers, but everywhere. I plan to call the dermatology office 1st thing on Monday, and am hoping I can have a doctor look at my skin, tell me what's happening me now. I hope and pray it's not a reinfestation, and that I can be prescribed something to get some relief. This is really terrible to go through, esp because I have zero idea how the devil I got this.
