Well see, your shot is effective from the day you get it(if you've taken it before as you already stated) until the day it's due(window of 3 months) I always make my bf take me to get it earlier since I don't want to risk it so I will usually get it on my 11th or 12th week at last. I don't let him cum inside as much as I'd like to bc it's the way we both feel finished, but he understands that a child is something we can't have. Either use condoms or make him finish outside, do the full-deep- ending on the middle of your time(so like ending of month 1-beggining of month 2) to assure you are protected from pregnancy. It's what I do, I've been on it for 4 shots(4×3=12=1 year) and never had an issue, you'll get pregnancy Symptoms and at times low sex drive, or high sex drive it just depends.
