Some years ago I had occasionally bouts of vertigo, but recently they have been much more common--sometimes every other day. I have been to a doctor, but is anyone else having similar problems. This has become debilitating since I am anxious about driving should I have an attack.
I don't know if this will help but I just had my first experience with it a few months ago. I'm 70. Mine is what is called "benign positional vertigo". At first I was worried about driving too but my doc didn't have anything to say about that. When I told him what I had he confirmed my own diagnosis and just acted like it was normal.

I've become sort of accustomed to it and have figured out what head movements trigger it so I avoid doing that. Thankfully most of my head movements while driving or performing most daily chores do NOT trigger it. I've even figured out just how far I can push it and then change my head movement to stop it.
