Is a rectal prolapse, where the rectum actually protrudes from the anus, the same as a rectocele. Sue
Hi Sue, if I am understanding your question correctly, no, prolapse is not the same as a rectocele. Why do you ask? Do you know someone with it?
Thanks for your reply. Yes I was diagnosed with a prolapsed rectum 10 years ago, when I lived in Canada, I was never told what to do about it, I never had too much of a problem with it until now, just wondered what to do about it, any excercises etc? Regards Sue
