yes i have the same problem and it aint scabies i have been treated for this i feel like i am going to go nuts my dr. does not no what to do
I have several autoimmune issues, RA, fibro, scleraderma, thyroid, etc.. Have seen different doctors for this rash and most concur that it is eczema which is in my family. There is a steroid cream, hydrocortisone butyrate cream o.1% that helps A LOT. The doc was not happy to give it to me because it is very strong and can quickly erode skin if overused. I usually only need one application for relief as long as I DO NOT SCRATCH!! Try a numbing cream, LMX or anything with lidocaine to help you stop scratching. It only makes it WORSE!! The flares are generally caused by stress and too much sugar! It is NOT scabies!!!!! These are literally two different 'animals". Scabies is a mite that leaves a trail as it travels. Hope this helps some of you. God Bless You all!
Look at Dyshidrosis. I have it, I ended up having to self diagnose and then get help. There are a few decent websites but the pictures on the websites look way worse than mine. But it's based on your immune system. So can boost immune system with Garden of Life system or with Barley green or Blue green algae. When I do any of those 3 it goes away. Or at least stops itching and bumps go away, then I peel, then I'm okay until immune system gets stressed.
I have this, too....going nuts. Living on Benadryl which barely helps. Two dermos...NOTHING...no relief. Mine seems to travel...stomach, upper arm, chest!
I too had thought that I was having an allergic reaction to coke when I started developing an intensely itchy rash everytime that I drank coke. Around the same time period, I was in college and I was completely stressed over finals. About the same time that I started to get this reaction to Coke, I developed gastritis. My stomach was so bloated that I couldn't even push on it because it hurt so bad!! I didn't link the two together until recently. I am now 5 years out of college and I am a Physician Assistant. I just had my second child 7 weeks ago and have been dealing with this intensely ithcy rash since she was born, only now, I don't link it to coke. It just happens. I started to think that it was my allergies to the outside, but I saw a patient last week that opened my eyes to the real truth. This patient had celiac disease and as she explained her symptoms, I thought that she could have been talking about me. A very itchy rash that would come and go and seemed to be associated with coke at first, but then developed at random times unrelated to coke. A period of inactivity of the disease in which the rash would not appear and there were no symptoms. Bloated, gasy abdominal pain and frequent diarrhea were also present around the time that the rash was at its worst. I have all the symptoms that this patient had and I thought that I had finally found the answer that I had been searching for all of these years!!!!!
Celiac disease is a serious condition. It can lead to anemia, vitamin deficiency, osteoporosis and even cancer. It is necessary to get tested for this disease if you all are having these symptoms!!!! The rash and the bumps that you all are talking about are the classic symptom that is associated with this disease. You could also have: abdominal pain/bloating, diarrhea, foul smelling stools, fatigue, iron deficiency anemia, depression, weight loss, bone or joint pain, and symptoms of vitamin deficiency! The skin rash associated with this disease is called Dermatitis Herpetiformis, which is characterized by blistering, intensely itchy skin. The rash usually has a symmetrical distribution and is most frequently found on the face, elbows, knees and buttocks. DH patients can have gastrointestinal damage without perceptible symptoms.
I know for myself that as I read more information about this disease, I can identify periods of time in my life when I had symptoms that were classic for this disease. It typically gets worse just after pregnancy, surgery or with emotional stress. I was diagnosed with iron deficiency anemia at the beginning of my pregnancy and required anti-nausea medication throughout my pregnancy to prevent throwing up every day. This clasically explains the disease. I also have always gotten sick the next morning after drinking. I drank a lot in college and ALWAYS threw up the following morning and couldn't understand why. Now, I know that alcohol, beer and wine have a lot of preservatives in them, which people with celiac disease cannot have.
Celiac disease is an auto-immune disorder than can present in childhood or in your adult life. I am sure that you will find some of the same associations that I have found in your life that correlate with classic symptoms of this disease. In order to get tested, you must present this condition to your doctor, most doctors have not even been educated on this disease in their medical training because it was considered to be so rare until recently. 1 in 133 people have Celiac Disease and most do not have all of the symptoms at the same time. People who do not know that they have celiac disease can develop intestinal problems, which can lead to cancer as a result of permanent damage and constant irritation of the intestine.

had this before several times a few years back. Ever since then i have begun to eat really healthy, and i 'm in really good shape ... trying to take care of myself. Anyway it came back couple of weeks ago. hate it. I know it can be related to stress, food, and pollution in the environment, which may includes being allergic to something usually in the air. I thought at first it was something i ate, but my diet hasnt really changed. Then i realized it was a reaction to air freshener plug(air wick)i bought for my room. Anyway, thh itching is still present but has subsided to a relatively comfortable level, hopefully it'll go away soon. For my family friend, who gets really bad rashes all over his hands and body it was sugar. Anytime he ate anything sweet with a lot of processed sugar he would break out.
Anyway, from experience, going to a regular doctor will not help you. They might prescribe some creams like cortisone, but these only eleviate the itch and not the cause of the problem.

Numuler Dermatitis--raised bumps that fill with a clear liquid resembling poison ivy or ring worm..Cause? Dry skin. Didn't start until I was in my forties, I'm a red head with sensative skin anyway, Avoid harsh soaps, hot showers, scratchy towels--will effect areas that have had previous cuts or lesions first from prior unrelated injuries to the skin. After a luke warm shower immediately apply a good skin cream--avoid scratching the bumps if you can--also a cortisone cream may help. I tried everything from clorox baths--thinking it was a bacterial infection; antibiotics, they seem to get worse in the dry air of winter--lots of body lotions, bath oils--even some mineral oil in your bath water--no salt baths! Good luck!~

when i was 14 years old i woke up with a couple of red bumps on my hands, by the time i had gone to school and was on first break my hands were covered in them, the school nurse called my dad who then took me to the doctors, who didnt know what to do or what it was so they sent me straight to the hospital, who also didnt know what it was but gave me blood tests to try an figure it out, by this time they were creeping all over my body an they just gave me some cream which did nothing at all but make it a whole lot worse, every joint in my body was covered in these bumps that were keeping me up in agony an tears all night every night, the cream the hospital gave me made it feel like i had just rubbed napalm into my skin, and the next one did and the next one, absolutly nothing helped apart from sitting in a cold bath, i was off school for a month, i couldnt get my shoes on or walk through the agony and i couldnt do a thing about it but wait it out, it was the worst time of my life. it just started to fade over time and i thought i was clear, but every year when the weather gets extremely hot or extemely cold my hands break out again, nowhere else thank goodness but always my hands, im now 26 and i still baffle the doctors they have no idea what it is as they have tested me for everything they can think of, i think its just something i am going to have to live with an pray to god i dont pass on to my children, it is awful and wouldnt wish it on anyone, sounds like ive had quite a aggresive version of it in comparison to some but even in small doses it is horrible so i can sympathise with you all..
this sounds exactly like what i have on my right hand... i'm starting to think it's from using chalk at work for the board. chalk has a form of limestone in it but i can't seem to get it to go away
Dear Users,
I believe I may have an answer for many of you. Dyshidrosis eczema. I have had small flare ups for years, but never knew what it was. I honestly figured they were some type of wart. But, currently, I have a very nasty flare up, which pretty much started overnight. I went to bed fine, but woke up with about 5-7 bumps on both index fingers around the knuckles. Now I have a bunch more on my fingers few on my right elbow and left wrist.
I did some extensive research, and finally came up with this. I went to a derm yesterday and she confirmed it.
I was at the zoo in the heat the day before this flare up started. She said I might have touched something, such as nickel, that triggered an allergic reaction in the form of DE.
If anyone is still looking for an answer, please look into DE. I am so glad I know what I have now. Dr. gave me an Rx for some cream, which should help with the itching. The bumps will have to go away on their own.
If you have a flare up that doesn't get better within a week or two, or if it is very bad, please see a doctor!

My husband and I have experienced the same symptoms as you for the past 3 months. I've seen 2 GP's, 1 dermatologist, 1 acupuncturist, 1 internist, and I'm heading to the chiropractor next...
I had a punch biopsy and lab tests done also. Everything came back clear, except for contact & allergic dermatitis. My dermatologist said that my husband & I are allergic to something in our house. I doubt it, because we've lived in our house for 10 years. We've used the same soaps, detergents, etc., for years also.
We just took medicine for Scabies even though the internist couldn't see any Scabies under the microscope. My son caught Scabies from another student at school 3 months before my husband and I started to notice itchy red bumps that spread like wild fire all over our bodies.
We have never experienced anything like this, so I hope the Scabies medicine cures us. I can't sleep because of the itchiness.
I'm beginning to wonder if we have developed an intolerance to gluten, because the photos I have seen look similar to the bumps all over our bodies.
Well, I gotta get going because I'm starting to itch again...
