hello ive been living with this for about 1 1/2 years now. i am really itchy around the base of the shaft of my penis. Been to the doctor and he said it was due to jock itch but i have used the products and they seem to be a temp solution there are no visable signs of anything but the itch is so strong that i would use anything that could scratch it, used alchohol and many other things and it just wont go away ive gone back to the doc and he says the same thing. (dont wear underwear get jock itch stuff) please please help
hey man. what does it look like is there a rash and if so can you describe it in detail?? I would go back to that doctor or perhaps a new one and ask to have a culture/skin scrapeings done to identify what is causing it.
There is no rash. thats the thing ive shaved in case it was in the hair. the only markings are from me scratching so hard. ive switched soaps ive tried everything but a skin culture.

you could go to your regular doctor but it might be smarter to get an appointment with a dermatologist if your doctor brushes you off.
