Recurring cold and flu symptoms - 3 times this winter

I don‘t know if it could be due to parasites, but they do seem to be the current trend for investigation. Likeyou, i have had the same symptoms reoccurring since November. We arenow mid April and still no sign of any let up. Doctors‘ knowledge in and treatment in this area, hasn‘t changed in over half a Century.

Two years ago I had this illness ....it began in January and finally left in May having come back every time I got tired or cold. Last year was ok. This year I picked it up mid February and have it now. I feel it’s never really gone this year. I have a child that turned six in March and the doctors say I am getting reinfected. I don’t believe it as it’s the same virus with exactly the same symptoms ...sore neck glands up ..sore throat ...headache feeling awful and a little greenish yellowish phoemb in the morning ...I have taken two courses of anti biotics without much improvement .....it never quite goes away and comes back with the slightest tiredness or getting cold... .a friend who is an osteopath has treated many people with this illness thinks it’s an undiagnosed epidemic ...he reckons it’s a lab made virus in the same family as the herpes virus....I’m sorry fed up with it and doctors tests cannot fund anything wrong .....

It’s epidemic in the uk but it is like an undisclosed epidemic ....it’s not flu as we know it and the medical profession seem to be clueless ...I have had it since February anD every time I think it’s gone it comes back if I get overtired or cold ....very sore neck....glands up ....sore throat etc.....a friend thinks it’s lab made and similar to the herpes family of virus’s he’s actually medically trained as a cranial osteopath ....
I have managed to procure some famciclovir and started a short course ...my friend says it works....

A medically trained friend also thinks it’s lab made and in the family of herpes virus’s ....it’s almost impossible to diagnose and the doctor’s opinion is flu but this is not flu ....I had it two years ago for four months before it left and it’s came back this year in mid Feb ....I have it now in late April abut have had time feeling 90percent better before it returns when tired or cold .....I don’t think I ever killed it but it lies dormant in the body ...I have managed to procure a course of famciclovir which my friend says greatly helps improve the situation but won’t kill the virus..,,,it’s epidemic in the uk but the government and medical profession won’t come clean ...they say it’s flu but it’s not like any flu ive ever had and I’m 61 ....I started the famciclovir at lunchtime and am hopeful.....it’s extremely debilitating and im normally a healthy person who eats mainly organic doesn’t drink or smoke ..l

Omg I have been dealing with the same thing, I'm so tired of feeling like I'm dying

I had flu for 5 weeks at Christmas but never really got over it. In early April every gland swelled up in my neck, had ulcerated tonsils and ear pain, this was sorted with antibiotics. Two weeks later I went down with a double chest infection, breathing difficulties and severe pain in my back. I was taken into hospital and given multiple meds which cleared my chest and for two weeks I was well then last night the fever and cold shakes plus rib pain started again. I am now back in bed ill. I have no idea what is going on with this recurrent flu and wondered if others are experiencing the same?

I wondered if you have received a helpful response. I have had this for over a year now and it recurs about every 8 weeks, laying me flat for a week or so each time. Fever, aches, severe cough and congestion (that never really goes away). 4 doctors, 2 hospitals. All say allergies and asthma. I a m sure it is misdiagnosed. Antibiotics and steroids just make me sicker.

Does help, I take 2000 per day when sick, but this bug is persistent1

All these posts seem a bit old I had the flu jab in October early (as I believed it was best) I am eighty and normally very fit but within forty eight hours could not breathe sneezing hardly breathe chest hurting and windpipe and track to lungs. 111 course of antibiotics! A couple of weeks later more antibiotics for the
smallest spot you can imagine on ankle which was forming deep hole. Finished those,, what next water infection so another six antibiotics for that ! I see the nurse because I realise chest and breathing not good make sure I have BROWN INHALER ( I normally only have a blue inhaler which helps when its grass cutting season, poor quality air, and times then trees shed eaves. (I am eighty by the way) Since the above two more cold episodes where I have reduced the sneezing symptoms by taking an antihistamine. Now here I go again very sore throar trying cider vinegar gargle but am I going to win.

I think the the three lots of antibiotics I have taken are probably enough for the whole year. How on earth to I get on top of this...……….goodness knows what was in the flu jab this time but it must be
forty years since I felt this bad, and what is more what was in that flu job I have heard of more peole around my age who have really suffered this winter, which on the whole has been quite mild most of the time. Is it some plan to kill off our older age pension group and save some money!!!

I have been diagnosed with mixed connective tissue disease, ( look it up ). I feel like I'm getting the 24 your flu at least 2, 3, even 4 times a month. I get the chills and the aching body just for a day, the next day I feel better but rung out tired, the 3rd day back to normal, then I might go months without getting sick, it's the craziest thing, then like I said I will get it up to 4 times a month. Sometimes I wonder if they really even know what I have.

I've had the flu 4-5 times since November. Very bad feels like I'm dieing. I couldn't even begin to describe how bad it is here. I'm wondering how I keep getting it. The thought that someone is giving it to me crossed my head. However I can't think of anyone anyway or any instance that fits. It's got to be in my house. I don't understand others have been here and not gotten sick. I do so many things to boost my immune system. More than anyone I know. My dog ate about a gallon and a half of my vomit snotty Kleenex and cigarettes ashes from the pal I was throwing up in while I slept. She didn't get sick.

Sounds biological to me. They keep mutating the virus to wipe people out.

I am having the exact same issue. I have been out sick 7 times since June 2021 and it’s only December 2021. I’ve never been sick but more than two times in a year. This is concerning. Each time, I have a fever sore throat, swollen glands, body aches, fever, sinus pressure. I’m afraid the people at my work are going to think I’m just playing hooky but I really am too sick to be at work. Feels like I have missed about 6 - 8 weeks in total of work in the last 6 months. I’m worried it’s something more serious. I worn in an office where everyone has had the Covid vax, but me. Wondering if the spike protein shedding in the Covid vax is as dangerous as I’ve heard it is. The creator of the MRNA vaccine says it’s dangerous and I’ve studied many videos on this from top doctors, who are all now banned from social media because they won’t go along with the narrative. Wondering if anyone else has any thoughts as to why all of us in this thread are having so much reoccurring sickness.

I've been sick with the flu for the last 2 months, and yesterday I was told I had bronchitis. I'm feeling better, but tonight when I laid down for bed I felt short of breath. No coughing, just short of breath. What does that mean?
