About a month and a half ago, I had unprotected sex twice with the same girl. About a week after that, I started getting these little red bumps on my penis (Underneath foreskin just under the head), which I of course freaked out about and convinced myself I had herpes. I got got STI tested shortly after, and did not get a call back from the clinic (meaning they didn't find anything from the tests). The problem went away by itself, but came back a couple weeks later, disappeared, and just recently came back. I work full time and also part time on weekends so never have time to see a doctor. During the past month I've scoured the internet looking for answers and solutions to this, and didn't really find very much information so this is A post to hopefully help someone in the same position I was in up until today. I finally found time today, and just half an hour ago I went to see a doctor. She looked at my medical history and saw that the STI tests came back negative, and after looking at it for maybe 10 seconds, she told me it was a male yeast infection called BALANITIS, What a relief. If this sounds like it's a similar problem to yours, Look Up pictures of it, although the pictures appear to be more severe cases, it looks similar to what I have
Was prescribed CLOTRIMAZOLE (antifungal cream to treat yeast infections) and told that if used 3 times a day, should be cleared up within 10 days.
hopefully if you were in the same boat as me, this post will help, definitely get tested regardless if you think you have contracted something, but if that doesn't find anything, see an actual doctor. If you're like me and have a hard time finding time to do this, and you have the same reoccurring problem, I'm pretty sure you can go to any drug store and pick up yeast infection cream.
